Job Description:

The title says Data Engineer, but we're looking for much more. As a Graduate Data Engineer, you will be exposed to various aspects of the data value chain, including data engineering, data analysis, data science, dashboarding, data product development, and data platform/architecture. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data engineering with an eagerness to learn and develop skills in other areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in data warehouse modeling and ETL/ELT processes.
• Work with tools like dbt, Airflow, and MPP databases such as BigQuery or Snowflake.
• Support data analysis and data science projects.
• Build dashboards and contribute to data visualization tasks.
• Participate in the development and maintenance of data products and platforms.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Jump from project to project and handle multiple projects in parallel.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field is an advantage but not a must if you have other relevant qualifications.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Basic understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes.
• Familiarity with dbt, Airflow, and MPP databases like BigQuery or Snowflake is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
